"Next up there was a personal appearance from Canadian filmmaker Spencer Estabrooks who was there to introduce his short film titled THE HUNT. Made entirely using practical effects the film tells the story of an father and son who are out in the woods to hunt together in hope to repair their fractured relationship. After a small falling out the pair call it a night unbeknown that something beyond their worst nightmare has hunted them down. With a relatively short 8 minute run time the short was fun to watch despite the poorly made creature suits that made me laugh. This said, The Hunt proved to be an enjoyable watch and its two actors, Chris Potter and Rohan Campbell, do a great job to bring the script to life.
