In the last episode of Heartland Lou did Banana Crunch Muffins and CBC kindly shared the recipe on the Blog at: http://www.momsthewordbylou.com/2013/10/lous-banana-crunch-muffins.html
Since I love baking, I had to try them this morning. Here you can see Tim with a muffin in 7.03 "Wrecking Ball" and the ones I took fresh out of the oven half an hour ago:
Of course I had to translate the recipe and decided to share "my" version with my fellow German fans. And I think the Canadian muffin trays are bigger because I only made half the recipe and it was enough for a German 12-muffin tray. Oh and I used almonds because some of my family members are allergic to walnuts:

150 g Mehl
1 TL Backpulver
1/4 TL Salz
60 g Haferflocken
60 g gehackte Walnüsse
40 g flüssige Butter
1 1/2 Bananen
90 g Zucker
1 kleines Ei
Streusel:
90 g brauner Zucker
2 EL Mehl
Muskat
Zimt
60 g Haferflocken
30 g gehackte Walnüsse
2 EL Butter
Garnierung:
1/2 Banane
* Ofen auf 190^ C vorheizen
* Mehl, Haferflocken, Walnüsse, Backpulver und Salz mischen
* Bananen, Zucker, Ei und Butter im Mixer mischen
* Beide Mischungen verrühren und 5-10 Minuten stehen lassen
