I hope you are all doing well. Sorry for my absence lately.
It all started couple of weeks ago with me thinking I really should clean out one of my cupboards and add the missing rear wall... It ended with painting some rooms and sorting through a lot of stuff. Feels like it was the right time and it brought back a lot of happy and sad memories of my dad. He is always in my thoughts but through the last couple of weeks, I felt very close to him. Maybe it is this special time of year.
We also moved the computer to another room and guess what, when I tried to switch it on nothing happened. Ok, I thought, I still have that old one from my brother`s attic. Alright that one does not want to be connected to our W-LAN. And before you ask, no I do not have a phone, tablet, etc. But it is this special time of year, so I found a way to get on here and wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends. I hope everyone affected by the winter storm in Canada and the US stays safe. This message will be shared automatically via Twitter and Facebook. I hope, I can check my accounts over there sometime soon (same with my E-Mails, I guess they are piling up by now, huh?! ;). Since I will leave shortly after the holidays to celebrate New Year with my soulsister, I will also already add my good wishes for a Happy New Year!

P.S. Thanks for all the Christmas cards and gifts, I cannot wait to open them up tonight (in Germany we open the presents on the 24th). You guys are just too sweet :) Talking of sweet, here is this year`s Christmas cake, I finished this morning.
