What will happen in Heartland Season 6?

Here is a first look into what will happen in Season 6:

"In Season Six viewers will watch as their favourite characters - Jack (Shaun Johnston), Amy (Amber Marshall), Ty (Graham Wardle), Tim (Chris Potter), Lou (Michelle Morgan) and Peter (Gabriel Hogan) - struggle to overcome new challenges and attempt to navigate uncharted territory.As the new season begins, Amy is struggling to understand why Ty hasn't said a word about the engagement ring she discovered in his pocket in the Season Five finale. She also has to deal with Ty's acceptance to vet school and the new friends who take him away from her. Working with horses remains the constant in her life and a runaway horse that arrives at HEARTLAND

In an unexpected turn of events, a fiery newcomer Georgie (Alisha Newton) arrives on the scene of HEARTLAND. She is a funny, smart-mouthed, reckless and adventurous 11-year-old who has a penchant for drawing the main characters into situations they wouldn't normally find themselves in. But, as always, the family faces those challenges together, sometimes with exasperation, sometimes with love and always with a healthy sense of humour."

Amy and Ty Fans, read this ;)

"After Blades was pulled, nobody felt safe -- even the broadcaster's staples. But what would CBC be without Heartland? "I had a lot of fans disappointed and upset because they didn't know if the show was going to come back, and the way that we left in Season 5 was a huge cliffhanger," recalled star Amber Marshall. "They said, 'Wait a minute. What if Heartland doesn't get renewed? What are we going to do?'" Pfft. The series' stars and its viewers will never have to know. In typical fashion, the family drama picks up four months later, and according to Marshall, Amy's discovery of the engagement ring "will be addressed in the first scene." And while she can't spill any juicy details, the actress does allow that "Amy and Ty are happy together."

Superstorm starring Chris and Heartland`s Maxim Roy

"Superstorm" will air this thursday (14:45, Pro 7) on German TV. The BBC mini series was produced in 2007 and I thought it was a good opportunity to mention that Chris (Dan Abrams) and Maxim Roy (Josie Abrams) worked together before they became Tim and Miranda on "Heartland". And even Cindy Busby has one short scene in this one, playing one of Dan Abrams` students.

According to IMDb and the official website of the movie, Chris is in Negotiations for "Heart of Dance":

Ok, normally I do not post every date for CP TV in Germany, but this time it is the second movie in six days. Wooohooo ;) "A Wrinkle in Time" (German title: "Gefangene der Zeit") will air this tuesday May 22nd at 20:15 on Tele 5 :))

Here is a trailer for everyone who has not seen this movie so far. And btw, I might have to watch it again as well, as I cannot really remember that scene with Chris and little Meg...

Remembering the X-Men Animated Series

This was already done in 2009 but I just came across it. It is one of Chris` colleagues Lenore Zann remembering the voice work for X-Men:

"One of the key traits to her character is the flirtatiousness of Rogue with Gambit. Lenore talks fondly of this relationship, and her friendship with Chris Potter, who voiced Gambit for almost all of the character’s appearances. “We were all together for the whole series, we were in the room together. So it was like a radio play and of course, in the scripts there is a definite attraction between Gambit and Rogue In fact, I think Gambit is madly in love with Rogue.  One episode he tries to kiss her and it almost kills him. There’s that time when Mr. Sinister captures them and puts them on an island, and takes away their powers. For the first time, they have a night together, I think they were chained to the wall or something, and it leaves it like dot dot dot, you know, so that they can actually touch each other and he won’t die. It doesn`t leave it to the imagination what they did that night."

In the room, we were all totally into our characters and just having fun,” remembers Lenore. “The hardest role for them to cast was Storm. In the first few weeks of our first season they must’ve went through five different actresses. They kept getting fired, and we were all nervous. With Chris (Potter), it was getting that accent. At first they wanted a strong accent, and when he did it, he did it well, but they said it was too much, bring it down, bring it down. It became very, very subtle."

"All of us became extremely close. We remain friends to this day, even though we’re all over the place,” says Lenore of her cast mates."

"It seems Tim has come up with a get-rich-quick scheme -- and of course, he has to run it past Jack... NOT the most receptive ears."



And Lisa Ryder who played Becca on "Andromeda" and starred with Chris in "The Right Horse" will make a guest appearance on Season 6:
