I know many of you enjoy seeing Chris in other projects besides his current appearances on "Heartland". So I searched for some online TV listings where you can check if there is anything coming up in the near future.

Thanks to Monica for the information about Locate TV :)

"I recommend LocateTV. You can use it for either the US, UK or Ireland. I have two accounts: one for the US and one for the UK. :)

What I love about it is that once you register (it's free) you can keep track of what actors, TV shows and films you want to watch by searching by actor or title and clicking on the star next to the name. Then a window will pop up showing you all the projects (if it's by actor) or episodes (if it's by TV show). When you're done you can go to "My schedule" and you will only see what you want to see listed there. So all of Chris' projects will show up on the schedule, because you selected him as a favorite. :)

You can also do that for specific episodes. So if you only wanted to see his episode of Outer Limits, you can choose that episode and not the entire series. :)

You can also keep track of what you've seen of his work by clicking the check-mark next to it and choosing, "I've seen it" or "Keep it" (among other options). This way, if there's something you saw that you'd like to see again, choose "keep it" and when it airs again it'll have an "R" next to it, meaning it's your rerun. :)

If you choose "I've seen it" then it won't show up in your schedule again, but you can always go back and change it. :)

locateTV will also send an e-mail every week with a summary of what's coming up of your favorites.

Take note that it's not completely accurate. I had to ask them to correct Heartland, because it was a mess at first, but they kindly fixed it as soon as I made them aware of the problem. :)"

CP Interview Radioactive Metal

Recently Chris did an interview with Radioactive Metal about his involvement in the upcoming Goddo documentary "In Goddo we trust" and his interest in Hardrock and Heavy Metal music. On a personal note, I totally agree with him about Heavy Metal fans being a great bunch of people. My brother got me introduced to the Metal scene when I was growing up and after my first concert of "Blind Guardian", in my humble opinion one of the best German Metal bands, I knew there is something really special about these "Metalheads".

Thanks to Radioactive Metal and Chris for this really great interview! Enjoy listening :)

Heartland Time Killer

This was shared on the official Heartland Blog last tuesday:

"Every Tuesday brings a new
Time Killer from me to you.
Something meant to while away
A little portion of your day.

Here's two shots of Tim and Jack,
One by one, and in a stack.
Now if you study (here's the fun)
And compare you'll see that one's

almost the same. But no, not quite!
Today, perhaps later tonight,
You will spend a little time
And SEVEN differences you'll find.

I'll now reveal a single clue:
NO differences involve a hue
or colour change (That would be tough).
This puzzle is quite hard enough!

Seven things you'll see I've changed,
Altered, moved or rearranged.
Seven spots for you to seek.
The answers I will post next week!"

Tim Fleming in Season 7 - Ask the Fans

Yesterday BW asked on the Heartland Facebook page what the fans want to see in Season 7 other than Jack surviving and Ty & Amy getting married. Here are some of the comments posted about Tim. The one thing that was mentioned the most is Tim and Miranda working things out:

TimSeason7

"I'd also love to see Miranda, Tim and Shane become a family."

"I want to see Tim make it work with Miranda and her and Shane move near Heartland"

"I'd like to see Tim killed off. He just burns my blood EVERY time I see him. Typical deadbeat parent. Runs the other way during the hard time of raising HIS children, but then comes back after all the hard work is done and the kids are independent and expects to be welcomed back with open arms and all the respect for a "parent". He was of no means a "parent". He was nothing more than a "sperm donor"."

"I'd love to see the whole family Ty, Lou, Amy, Jack, Peter, Mallory, Kate, Jack, Tim. All become closer again. It feels like they are being pushed away from each other hiding things, and keeping secrets."

"What else does Tim have up his sleeve in the new season?"

"Val and Tim goo of to money making money schemes and become unwanted in everyone's lives"

"Tim and Miranda work things out, and move in together at Heartland."

"Even if Tim does move for him to still be involved in his daughter's lives."

"Tim get his life in order and stop being such a a$$"

"Also, give a role to Tim to recover his role as father to his daughters and may the right women come into the scene in the homestead with family dialog."

"Tim having another kid he doesn't know about, "

"And maybe one of Tim`s girlfriend finds out that their pregnant"

"... and Tim and Shane stay at Heartland"

"Would love to see Peter and Lou settle into their own house.....maybe buy Tim's ranch."

"Tim and Miranda get together and he quits being such an A-hole."

"How about Tim growing up and acting more like an adult! Stop focusing on himself, he has three kids and grandchild to teach from his actions"

"Scott and Lou buy Tim's ranch and she makes the Guest ranch bigger "

"I hope that Jack lives and Tim and him get back to working togather and that Tim and Shane's mom get together And so Tim can have his son back"

"And oh how can I forget Tim! Although I don't like him very much I'd like to see him and his son together more! They are a great team!"

"More Shane at the ranch scenes maybe they should move to Tim`s ranch so he won't sell and move away"

 "Less Tim - he's annoying, immature, lazy, a user-loser"

"Well, in case Tim is still around, it would be awesome if the writers pay him some courtesy and allow him to be the good guy for a change... "

"I'd love to see more scenes with Chris Potter"

"Lou and Peter buy out Tim"

"It would be good if things could finally work out for Tim."

"Tim back in rodeo"

"I think Tim should be back in rodeo and when he is in a tournament get thrown of a bull and almost die but not die"

"He (Caleb) actually sounds like a junior version of Tim. Maybe the two of them could find some time to "grow up" together? I look at the relationship that the family patriarch (name withheld by request) and juvenile delinquent (name withheld by request) have had and how beautifully that's worked out... Why can't Tim take a continued interest in mentoring Caleb? He already took Caleb to task for the pain-killer addiction problem he had. A rodeo legend like Tim is bound to be able to mold Caleb into a better professional cowboy."

"Tim getting together with the waitress where the horses were rescued! (A Heartland Christmas)"

"I'd love to see more of Tim and Shane's Father-son relationship"

"I would like to see Tim actually "get it"..."

"I would love to see some serious character development for Tim (and not the nonsense and childish behavior the writers have given him this season - it's getting really annoying because it feels as if we're back in Season 1)."

"Tim needs to grow up"

"Also like to see Tim for once not try but succeed in one of his plans ( obviously the right plan!!! he Always comes up with the wrong once ) Like for instance going after Miranda, knowing letting her go is the wrong thing to do!"

"Miranda and Tim stop jumping over the fence this way and that way...just get along"

"Tim needs to get rid of that controling jockey & get back with his son`s mom,"

"Tim marry Shane's mom and they live at Big River."

"Tim gives Lou and Peter part of Big River and they get their house together and have a little baby boy next."

"Give Tim and Caleb a storyline together, they had such great dramatic and comical scenes in the past  Yes and please let Tim have some good times and a constant storyline. He and his fans need a break. Oh and I hope we see Chris back in the Director`s chair in Season 7"

Looks like Livejournal is experiencing some serious trouble during the last weeks. It was down the last few days and I was also informed there was another glitch while I was away two weeks ago. If you have tried to send a comment and it is not unscreened by now, please send it again because then it just did not make it to my inbox. Thank You and it looks like someone is really messing with the wires, huh?! ;)

"Oh, yeah, I forgot what else I'd love - more director's work from Chris Potter! 4 episodes, perhaps..."

"A more indept story line for Tim"

"More of Tim, Miranda & Shane"

"I'd like to see Tim, Miranda and Shane become a real family and I'd like to see Tim bonding with Georgie as a 'real grandpa'. I love Tim and would like to see him on all the shows ... he's such a character!"

"For Tim: He needs to grow up and stop flying by the seat of his pants and find some stability. Marry Miranda and they raise Shane together"

"I'd also, of course, like to see Caleb, Jack, and Tim celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy!"

"I'd like to see Tim and maranda marry and Tim moves where they are, and Lou and Peter buy Tim's place next to Heartland"

"Tim to smarten up and get his act together regarding all of his family"

"Lou and Peter buy Tim's place, and Tim gone."

"Lose Peter, lose Tim"

"Tim sons participant in junior Bull riding"

Barney - The Bear

Today I have some sad News to share. Maybe you remember the bear who appeared in Season 4 episode "The River". I learned yesterday that he passed away last friday. The Discovery Wildlife Park shared the following message:

"But the absolute worst thing that happened was that Ruth's precious Kodiak Barney passed away yesterday. He had been having abdominal pain for a few days and was being cared for by the vets. It turned out that he had a twisted gut, which is almost always fatal. Our hearts go out to Ruth and her other bears, as they will also feel the loss.
Barney was an amazing movie bear - he lit up every time he was on set and always strived to please. He will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him." https://www.facebook.com/pages/Discovery-Wildlife-Park/19461577758
